We back this tool up 100% because we all need a way to break large goals up into smaller goals that we can achieve. Before you know it, all of those small goal achievements add up to crushing your large goals!

Ditch The “All or Nothing” Mentality

When we are working on building new habits it can get overwhelming pretty darn fast.  The perfectionist in us takes over… the “all or nothing” mentality kicks in. And if we don’t meet our own expectations, we tend to want to throw in the towel and beat ourselves up!

Use The K.I.S.S. Method Instead to Reach Your Goals

 
Can’t get in your regular water amount?What CAN you do?
Don’t just give-up. Get in an extra sip and count that as an achievement!
 
Can’t get in your regular workout?What CAN you do?  
Go for a short bike ride and congratulate yourself for being active!
 
Can’t get enough protein in this meal? What CAN you do?  
Have a protein shake and pat yourself on the back!
 
To get out of your own way, to get UNSTUCK… you must ask yourself:
 
  • What CAN you do?
  • How can you KEEP IT SIMPLE, SILLY?

And then, go take action on that. Pick something you CAN do, and DO IT! And then give yourself credit when you take action. You don’t have to stay in the “all or nothing” perfectionism state… you can start taking imperfect action and keep it simple So…. KISS!
