Recently, my mom was invited to a birthday celebration that she really wanted to go to, but there was one problem.  She didn’t want to eat the birthday cake. 

It’s not that she thought she couldn’t handle the temptation to eat it, but she didn’t want to make other people feel uncomfortable by not eating the cake.

Can you relate? Have you ever been at a party, and made the choice not to eat the cake or pie or whatever it was, and it made other people feel guilty for eating it?

“I don’t want to make others feel bad if I make healthy food choices.” Do you ever find yourself making this excuse at a party or celebration or that extravagant holiday party?

I’m here to give you permission to STOP trying to manage other people’s emotions when you make choices that align with your fitness goals. You are responsible for YOU and YOUR food choices, not anyone else’s.
