Do you feel like you’re too old to get in shape? Do you feel like you don’t have enough time to exercise? Too stressed to care?
We all have excuses that are keeping us from meeting our health and fitness goals. BUT, the good news is that we don’t have to let these excuses have the last word.
That’s why my mom and I decided to do a 4-part series on Overcoming Your Top Excuses, because we want to help you in any way that we can to move you past the excuses and toward your fitness goals!
The cool thing is that Dr. Mimi has been where most of us STAY. She knows what it’s like to be too stressed to think about her health, too busy to make time for fitness, and too tired to care.
We tell her story to inspire you, to help you know DEEP down in your gut, that change is possible at any age.
Not Enough Time to Exercise
The first excuse we’re tackling today is: I don’t have enough time to exercise.
It’s safe to say that 100% of us have said this at one time or another.
But the truth is life never really slows down. We have to engineer our 24 hours to support our core values.
But often, we’re so busy that we just react to whatever life throws our way, rather than pausing to ask ourselves, “Does this help me achieve one of my core values?”
If your health and fitness is a core value, then you will make the time. Making the time doesn’t mean you have to start with hour-long work outs. Getting active for just 15 minutes a day is a great START.
And, guess what? Small things repeated over time results in BIG change.
In this week’s video, my mom and I will talk about how to overcome the excuse that you don’t have enough time to exercise.
We’ll discuss:
- How to make small changes to get BIG results
- How to engineer your day to make time for your health and fitness goals
- Empowering yourself by taking one small step at a time
If you’re ready to feel empowered by CHOOSING to make time for your health and fitness, this video is for you!
