Work. Kids. Parents. Bills. The list could go on and on.
I have a question for you: how do you deal with the stress in your life? How you answer that question – how you deal with stress- can affect your weight loss goals.
Do you take a nice long bubble bath with a glass of wine? Maybe you go out with your girlfriends for a mani-pedi? Or maybe your ultimate stress reliever is a Netflix binge with your favorite bag of chips?
Whatever it is, most of the things we do to deal with stress are quick fixes. They’re like band-aids – they’re going to get ripped off (ouch!) when you pop back in to real life. They don’t help you with your long-term weight loss goals, and they don’t keep the stress from coming back, either!
So, how do you start dealing with stress in a way that helps you meet your long-term fitness goals?
